Description
thesadstork & I are happy to report there's a new exhibition happening in our gallery in Bargoed!
this time it's "chemical bath" featuring artists using traditional and alternative printing and photography techniques.
we'll be showing work by:
Marianne Priest
Toralf Sümmchen (to whom we owe the poster image!)
Ladislav Viszoczky
Charles Guerin
and Anne Campbell: www.annecampbell.photography/
- thank you so much for taking part, we're very excited!!
you can follow the updates on our blog: thekickplateproject.blogspot.c…
facebook: www.facebook.com/thekickplatep…
twitter: twitter.com/kickingtheplate
and website: thekickplateproject.weebly.com…
(there will be more of them once we're recovered from the preparations )
there's already been a nice feature about it on the page of ffoton, an organisation promoting photography in Wales:

PS practical question: can anyone see pixelation around the letters in the poster? I've been having problems with the way different pages compress it and noticed the less text the better, which didn't seem to happen before.. pngs on da don't seem to work, while they look best on facebook - hmph!
it's difficult to keep up with what different website settings do to the posters.. not to mention pages that require submission of super tiny files, which shouldn't apply to da.
